Magpie Mondays {Dusty, but Golden}

Dusty, but Golden

And now, I'm tangled up in a yarn,
Pulled back into my yesterday's lair.
Where the moon is my mother,
And the brown, crisp pages are my blissful poison.

Poison? Drug, maybe, but poison - never!

Hi Dame,

without Willow's Magpie I wouldn't have found this page. I am glad she sent me.

Your words are perfect, they are totally original, I would never have thought along your lines, but, having now read them three times, they impress me still.

Got to say this will be one of my favorites!

I'm wondering why it's "poison" as well. Nonetheless, I loved the feel of this. Mother Moon...I like that.

Thanks, everyone for the lovely comments. Maybe the word, 'poison' did not suit at all. Blame me for wanting to add drama and fierceness to my work. Well, got a lot to learn. Looking forward for more Magpies with you, poets. :)
